What are the best dandruff treatments? The ones that work are the best. Since there are so many dandruff treatments depending on which direction you will like to go in is up to. You can go the natural route using apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, mint, lavender, rosemary, sage, and nettle.

Shampoo is a perfect example. Active ingredients such as zinc pyrithione and salicylic acid are added to the most popular shampoos. While both of these ingredients are excellent for treatment, they simply aren't in contact with the scalp long enough to be of any real effect.

This one needs a bit more advance preparation but nothing too complicated - just mainly time. Soak a few tablespoons of fenugreek seeds overnight in a bowl of water. Next day, grind the seeds into a paste - a regular food blender works fine for this. Once you've got your paste, massage it into your scalp and leave it there for about an hour before rinsing the mixture out.

Fenugreek seeds have curative powers to reduce dandruff. They are softened in water and applied to the scalp every morning. After an hour or so, they are washed with soap nut. This keeps dandruff away and prevents falling hair.

Proper shampooing and using the right shampoo is the usual and easiest treatment of dandruff. Most shampoos help in removing flakes but it would be more beneficial when the fungus are shed away from your head. When the fungi are killed, most likely, the dandruff will not occur again with continuous treatment.

Sometimes sensitivities to some hair related products or hair dyes can cause an inflammation i.e. red, itchy, scaling scalp. Another skin condition that concerns the scalp is called Psoriasis. Inflamed red patches start to appear, covered by silvery whitish scales.

HERE’S HOW - Put 1 drop of your Cellulite Body Oil on a cotton swab and lightly touch the skin in an area either under your arm, inside of your elbow, back of your knee or wrist. Cover the area with a Band-Aid and leave unwashed for twenty-four hours.

Exude the paste of amalaki, neem and henna in milk and apply it on the hair. Let is remain overnight. Wash the hair in the morning. Repeat this therapy for a week. The hair will get its color back, along with a great deal of softness.

Apply warmed coconut oil with the juice of two lemons, and leave in hair for two hours before shampooing out. Meats, sugar, strong tea or coffee, processed fruits, candies, soft drinks, pickles should be avoided.

People who actually have a dry scalp are also dry all over their skin. Some people say their dandruff gets worse when they are stress, anxiety and tension. Dandruff is a chronic condition that can almost always be controlled, but dandruff treatment may take a little patience and persistence.

Licorice has Glycyrrhizin, a component that reduces the amount of oil produced by the scalp. Some dandruff cases are caused by excessive oil, and keeping oil production to a minimum is all that is needed in keeping dandruff under control. Add licorice to vinegar and use it as a hair rinse every time you shower.
