Saying that eyes are the most effective and expressive tools of communication would indeed be no understatement. They mirror a person’s myriad moods and emotions. Eyes have fascinated poets since time immemorial.
Sometimes eyes do the job of the tongue: a mere flickering of the eyelids may express volumes. They reflect your inner mind. Whether the eyes are big or small is not in your hands, but do care of them. Large eyes ringed with dark circles are ugly, but sparkling eyes, even if they are small, are beautiful.
The importance of the eyes to the human beings need not be emphasized. Eyes provide us sight, without which life would lose most of its meaning. But at the same time, eyes are constantly exposed to the external environment. Almost everyone in the world overworks their eyes, due to which several eye problems occur.

As people grow older, there occur changes in the skin as a result of changes in the production of collagen and elastin. Collagen is a protein found in skin cells and elastin is also a kind of protein produced by the body. Another important compound found in the body is melanin, which is a kind of pigment responsible for controlling color of skin. With advancing age, its distribution becomes irregular in the body leading to loss of fat under the skin.
An excellent exercise for your eyes are head rolls - this is where you close your eyes, take a long deep breath, hold it for a few seconds and as you slowly exhale, drop your chin to your chest slowly. Next as you are about to inhale you slowly move your head around to the left side and then back again, making sure that your neck and shoulders are relaxed the entire time.
When it comes to pet eye care for mammals, eye problems are far easier to treat, but in order to prevent permanent damage, must be caught early. For hamsters, mice, and other cage-dwelling rodents, the most common eye issues are infections arising from soiled or dusty bedding. These infections can either originate directly in the eyes or can be a symptom of a larger infection, such as a respiratory infection.
