Women are usually very particular with the look of their hair because it is what people will notice straight away and they will remember someone's hair the most. That is why we want our hair to look as good as it possibly can most of the time. Most of us have drawers that are stuffed with curling irons, combs, brushes and flat irons.
One type of homemade hair treatment that is natural involves using olive oil. This is great for over processed hair or hair that is brittle and dry.
Here is one basic recipe:
-
Shampoo hair first
-
Combine 1 beaten egg with ½ to ¾ cup of extra virgin olive oil (like with cooking, the extra virgin olive oil will give better results since the "pure" and "light" olive oils have been chemically processed).
-
Wrap your hair up in a plastic cap.
-
Leave on anywhere between a half an hour to 45 minutes.
-
Do this about monthly for a deep hair treatment.
A popular homemade hair growth treatment is the rosemary rinse. Rosemary is known as a hair growth stimulant. Boil two cups of water, put in ¼ cup of dried rosemary and let it sit until tepid. Then rinse your hair with this concoction and this will treat thinning hair and eliminate dandruff.
Herbs for Healthy Hair
-
Rosemary: Enhances dark hair.
-
Burdock Root: Promotes hair growth and reduces hair from falling out.
-
Chamomile: Promotes healthy hair growth.
We are all slightly different in our tones, textures and types of hair. The textures of hair can be of coarseness to soft, limp or fine. Our hair can be thick and oily, prone to many bouts of dandruff or just normal all the way around. No matter the type, texture or even the specific problems that is a part of your head of hair, there is a way to manage it for bringing out the very best of your very personal head of hair.
When there are problems with your hair, often it may be related to the basic hair care of using the wrong shampoos and conditioners. Overall best hair results of vibrancy and brilliance are attributed to a good healthy diet, but there is also the hands-on care of hair treatment actions that are taken every time you wash, condition, brush, dry or style your hair. Make sure that the shampoos and conditioners used are all natural and specifically fitting to your hair type.
It is best to not brush when wet, and when you do brush your hair, use a wide toothed comb over most any kind of brush, due to causing damage from being tugged and pulled. When needed, use only the correctly chosen homemade remedies to rectify the damage. For example, there are plenty of homemade hair masks to choose from for repairing damage from most any kind of neglect or styling mistakes that you have made. A good homemade hair remedy can go a long ways in fixing the hair care problems that may arise.
