People spend a lot to just to make them smell good. Let it be men or women, the smell nerve of our body reacts instantly and attracts us more towards the wonderfully smelling person than any other beauty feature. You might have experienced and also tested how sensing nerves work in different situation. No idea if it has been proved anywhere, but out of personal experience it is safe to say that it is the sense of smell that works faster than any other sensing nerves. The best way to explain this is by absorbing how you react to good and bad smells.

We find men and women spending lots on their perfumes and fragrances. There are times when we even wonder why to waste so much of money in just to smell good. But the fact is it is only the smell which catches our attention when we are stuck in crowded buses or elevators. Imagine yourself in one of the situations and some person standing next to you smells of bad odor and sweat. The only thing u would wish for is instant death. Lets go reverse and imagine someone smell sweet or something very nice and pleasant. You would not mind standing the entire day in such a presence. There are different perfumes for men and women. The whole idea behind this was to give men and women an individual identity and make them comfortable with two fragrances around. Men generally are happy applying cologne after shave. Men’s Fragrances are made keeping in mind the personality a man carries and hence men’s fragrances or perfumes are generally strong.

This works the other way round for women. A women’s fragrance or perfume is rather soft and sweet, giving the feeling of the delicateness a woman generally carries. The perfumes smell more of flowers which carry light fragrances floating delicately in the air.

Generally, the selection of perfumes depends on the occasion or the event one would be attending. A perfume which is strong and plays well in day functions might turn off others in the evenings. Also there are occasions were you need to know how loud or light you should smell. Like in weddings, your perfume should scream out for attentions, while in a ball room it has to remain quite only making your partner realize its presence.

Also understand that a deodorant is completely different from what we call perfume. Sure each one of us knows what the purpose of a deodorant really is and why is it used. Deodorants are made for us where as perfumes or Fragrances are made for others. No doubt not applying a good deodorant might turn off the opposite person. But Fragrances are applied in order to make you more attractive. Keep in mind, smell has no barrier of beauty. It is beyond that. Every thing which pleases the eyes might not please the nose. But if the nose is pleased, the eyes can stand any unwelcoming sight for at least few moments and that’s the reason why men and women should use Fragrances.
