You will not have success using the internet without the right mindset. So the question becomes do you have the right mindset to become profitable? Do you feel YOU are destined for greatness? If you can answer YES to these questions than your internet success will be limitless. Over the past few years I have really gotten a sense for the qualities needed to succeed in internet marketing. I have also gotten a sense for identifying which personal qualities of mine can be most utilized to achieve success. One of my most important qualities is that I BELIEVE in the businesses I launch and in the companies I invest with. The most important quality within EVERY successful entrepreneur is a positive mindset. A positive mindset that no matter what adversities you face, YOU WILL ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS.

The hardest part of starting, managing or transforming a successful business is the courage to possess this mindset. The success stories you hear about online or in books did not come about by sitting around and contemplating where to start. They also did not come about through 15 hour work days and tremendous amounts of commitment. In order to be successful you need a PLAN or an IDEA and you need to implement this plan in a SMART way.

Work SMART. Not HARD. If you ask any successful internet marketer that is what they will tell you. They will also tell you a few other words of wisdom such as:

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease."- In other words, make sure you become a squeaky wheel. Ask as many questions as you can and find out as much as you can from others. Contacts and connections, co workers, friends, family, employers, strangers. They are all pools of knowledge that you need to soak up.

"You have to risk it for the biscuit."

Come up with a game plan and stick to it. Divide your profit up before hand and decide how much you will reinvest and how much you will keep for yourself. The more success you have, the more you'll believe you can achieve. Until you start succeeding, you'll have nothing but your own desire to power you toward your goal. Keeping that passion burning yourself can be difficult, so surround yourself with successful people, even if they aren't chasing after the same goals that you are.

If you want to achieve any goal, your first step is to declare it. Take 100% responsibility for creating it and then clear out all the words like "hopefully," "can't," and "TRY." Words like "try" are signs that you have no faith and you're using your own potential success against yourself. DON'T BECOME A "TRY-BABY!"

Without the ability to dream you will never accomplish your goals. You need to dream BIG. Dreams define who we are. Successful people dream about success. Most people dream big then settle for something less because they feel more comfortable going after the lesser dream. For example, instead of dreaming about having the financial freedom to live anywhere in the world, most people dream about making their rent for the next month. Believe it or not, it just takes a little more effort to achieve a big dream than it does to achieve a small one. Don't forget about your dreams and don't accept the small, more realistic dreams that surround you every day. When you lose your dream, you have nothing to live for. One famous quote that I will always remember is "Most men die at age 25 and are buried at 65."
