The Rembrandt Whitening Strips work through the application of thin strips which mold onto both the upper and lower teeth. However, this product is an improvement from others similar products, as its strips are curved to enable them to fit better onto to the teeth, using new strip technology known as FORMFIT.

Each package of Rembrandt Whitening Strips contains 20 strips wrapped individually in foil wrap. You will use ten strips for the top teeth and the other ten for the lower set of teeth. In order to use the strips, you will have to peel off the plastic backing liner from them, and then align the strips with your gum line. Next, you will need to fold the bottom of the strips underneath the teeth in order to have them securely in place. The strips should be applied for up to 30 minutes a day for 5 days. The strips for the upper teeth are longer than those for the lower teeth. Nevertheless, they are only able to fully cover six teeth and half of the first bicuspid. Unfortunately, they do not cover the back teeth. Nevertheless, the Rembrandt Whitening Strips do work in providing minor whitening results on the 6 anterior and posterior teeth that they provide coverage for.

You shouldn’t expect immediate results when using the Rembrandt Whitening Strips. This is because users have reported having to use this product at least six or seven times before they noticed any significant whitening results on their teeth. And even after the results were noticed, they were nothing to write home about as the overall whiteness was minor. As such, the Rembrandt Whitening Strips are recommended for those who only need minor whitening for their teeth.

Satisfied customers have commented that the Rembrandt Whitening Strips are able to stay in place on the teeth and did not result in any irritation in their gums or nerves. The product also does not have a rancid taste. However, some customers have complained that after taking the strips off, then brushing their teeth, the whiteness effect left on the teeth was "patchy". This was as if the strips had managed to bleach certain areas on the teeth much more than they had on other areas. This may mean that you will not be able to give a big toothy smile for a couple of days until the bleaching evens out. The good news is that it proves to you that the hydrogen peroxide contained in the bleaching gel is at the very least effective in whitening your teeth.

When you see this product on the shelves, it is likely to grab your attention. This is mainly due to the innovative attractive design of the new packaging used by Rembrandt for the Rembrandt Whitening Strips. However, should you find two different Rembrandt Whitening Strips products on the store shelves, be sure to pick the one whose packaging reads "Advanced Whitening Strips". This is because it contains a higher percentage of hydrogen peroxide concentration than the other Rembrandt Whitening Strips products.
