The eczema herpeticum virus will produce great agony and inflammation to the entire body, more particularly to the eyes, lung, brain and liver. When infected, the symptoms may start to appear in 6-12 days. One symptom is: water blisters on your skin and especially on the lesions. Pat yourself dry after a bath or shower to inhibit the friction of cloth against the body which can aggravate the skin. Moisture is excellent for the skin as this disease has a propensity to dry out your skin, leaving it further inflamed.
Prevent coming in contact with harsh chemical solvents or detergents. Use protective gloves when vital. These are some of the things you can do to minimize the effects of the symptoms. You will still need to go to a doctor or dermatologist for care. Early detection can help heal this disease quicker and with a lesser amount of agony. Most likely the doctors will prescribe anti-staphylococcal or anti-viral drugs. Pain medications are also given as it can get real bad at times.
