Atheism is becoming more and more common as the years go by, and people actually boast the fact that they do not believe that God exists. Most of the time people will say that they do not believe in God because there is no evidence or reason to do so. The Bible states quite clearly that people who look around at everything contained within creation and deny God are without excuse.

Romans chapter 1 verses 18 through 20 state: "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse."

Have you ever looked at something contained within the universe, whether it be life or non-life, and thought to yourself "There must be a God. There must be a creator." We all have at one point or another throughout our life, and this is due to the fact that it is a fairly obvious statement. When we look around and see things that appear to have design, we must understand that there must be a designer. The Bible verses quoted above make it very clear that when we look out at creation and choose to deny God, we are without excuse.

Not only this, but there are also many aspects of the universe that demand the existence of God. For example, the existence of living beings and life forms demands a "life-giver." After all, life can not come from non-life. This shows that God is a living God, capable of "breathing the breath of life" into His creation. The theory of evolution states that life can come from non-life, and unfortunately many people believe it.

We must also understand why anyone would deny the existence of God in the first place. Romans chapter 1 says that they do so by their wickedness. They take truth and suppress it as a result of their sin and fallen nature. The Bible has much truth to offer, including the truth which leads to eternal life. We are all born dead in trespasses and sins and the only way to receive eternal life is through faith in Jesus Christ, who is our God and creator.
