The Effectiveness of the Johanna Budwig Diet when Dealing with Cancer

German research scientist Doctor Johanna Budwig had discovered a totally natural formula that not only protected someone from cancer but can, along with a strict diet fights cancer as well. Incurable people whom the orthodox medicine could do nothing for have survived cancer with the aid of this very popular and well known diet.

Johanna Budwig who died at the age of 95 in 2003 was a brilliant German Biochemist and spent years researching the relationship between fatty acids and chronic degenerative diseases such as cancer. She was a leading authority on fats and oils.

She discovered that, the blood of people with cancer always had gross deficiencies of phosphatides and lipoproteins while healthy people did not have this deficiency. This deficiency resulted in a reduced oxygen levels in the cells. It was another German Biochemist called Doctor Otto Warburg who had discovered back in 1931 that cancer cells can thrive in an anaerobic environment, which means without oxygen but can’t survive in an oxygenated or aerobic environment.

Johanna Budwig set out to find a way of introducing oxygen into the cells of the body. She had been experimenting with flaxseed oil but her problem was, it was oil soluble and only water soluble solutions can enter cells. After many years of research she found that by combining flaxseed oil with the sulphurated amino acid found in cottage cheese the flaxseed would become water soluble.

For it to be effective the two natural foods, organic flaxseed oil and cottage cheese must be eaten together since one triggers the properties of the other to be released. The diet is not really a method of curing cancer but simply helps correct a deficiency that when corrected allows the body to heal itself.

To be successful in overcoming cancer this needs to be a strict diet with total dedication so a patient has to eliminate;

  • Any sugar, not found in nature

  • Meat, margarine, butter, salad dressing except extra virgin olive oil

  • Hydrogenated and animal fats

  • Alcohol

  • Caffeine

  • White rice, white flour and refined grains

  • Preservatives, chemicals, and processed foods

The recipe for the flaxseed and cottage cheese is;

  • 6 tblspns organic cottage cheese or quark

  • 3 tblspns of flaxseed oil

Others are adding the following;

  • 2 tblspns of raw milk

  • 1 tsp of honey

  • 2 tblspns of ground flaxseeds

  • Fresh fruit or berries to taste

Blend the flaxseeds in a coffee grinder, add pine or walnuts if desired and mix only the amount you are consuming at one time. It must be used fresh.

Do not add anything to the mixture after it’s made.

Don’t buy pre-ground flaxseed as it goes rancid soon after grinding.

The Budwig diet is both preventive and curative and can be a life saving protocol.

This diet, along with the Gerson Diet has been described as very strict but for a disease like cancer they have to be.

Our mainstream ways of treating cancer today are only treating symptoms which is the growths themselves and that is often of little help. Where as the Budwig Diet deals with the root cause of the problem and when you address that issue the body will heal permanently.
