The next are that surrounds the validity of Paul being a true disciple of Jesus 2,012 years ago is that Paul made quite a few contradictions to what Jesus taught.

One of the more well known quotes made by Jesus was to his disciples before he sent them forth to be fishers of men, was Matthew 10:5-6. In this quote Jesus directly and specifically commanded his Twelve Disciples not to go the GENTILES OR INTO ANY CITY OF THE SAMARITANS..... This clearly shows that Jesus did not come to save the whole world as the vast majority of Christians mistakenly believe, which is another article in itself!!!! With this quote in mind, it is quite unbecoming of one who claims to be an apostle to make the statement that Paul made in Acts 22:21. I am sure that many readers are saying that since Paul was Jesus' new apostle, Jesus was using Paul to teach the Gentiles or something.

I think the following quotes will clear the doubt anyone may have about Jesus changing his mind when it comes to the law. In Matthew 5:17-19, Jesus makes his purpose for coming to this planet known. He explains that he came to fulfill the law and the words of the prophets. He even goes further to say that NOT THE SMALLEST PUNCTUATION MARK (jot or tittle)WILL BE CHANGED OR MOVED FROM THE LAW UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS. I think we can all bear witness that heaven and Earth have not passed, so Moses' law of the Old Testament is what all good Christians should still be following!!!!

Let's look at some of the differences between what Jesus taught and what Paul taught.

  1. According to the Law of the Old Testament, Jesus was circumcised as a baby when he was 8 days old. Paul says in Romans 2:29 that circumcision is of the heart and not of the LETTER (of the Law) and that you will gain nothing if you are circumcised and that you will fall from grace if you are justified by the law in Galatians 5:2-6.

  2. It is important to to remember that Jesus himself was baptized by John the Baptist. However in Romans 10:9-10, Paul says that you are saved by accepting Jesus and does not mention Baptism. He even goes further to say in 1 Corinthians 1:17, that Christ sent him not to baptize, but to preach.

  3. 2 Chronicles 7:12-16 states that the Lord dwells in chosen temples. In Acts 7:48, Paul says that The Most High does not dwell in temples and in Timothy 6:16 Paul says that God dwells in light.

  4. Ecclesiastes 7:9 and Proverbs 22:24 state that anger is disapproved. In Ephesians 4:26 anger is approved of by Paul.

  5. As to Exodus 20:8, Jesus taught to keep the Sabbath holy in Luke 2:27. Again, in Romans 14:5 and Colossians 2:16, Paul says not to judge a man who doesn't keep the Sabbath.

  6. The Law of Moses teaches in Leviticus 11:7 not to eat of the swine (pork). Paul, again teaches in Romans 14:3 not to worry about what the next man does.. This seems again that he was using politics instead of the word of God to gain followers.

  7. In Matthew 26:6-13 Jesus shows through his example of dealing with the woman that he felt women were equal in the eyes of the law and even went as far as defending her action to the disciples. Jesus even healed a woman of her fever and sent her out to minister in Matthew 8:15. In 1 Corinthians 14:34 and 1 Timothy 2:11-15 Paul shows how he really feels about women. In these verses he clearly shows that he thinks that a woman should be silent in Church and subjugated to a man. So how can a woman minister as in Matthew 8:15 if she is to be silent?

It is important to note that we should look closely at some of the things that Paul says when he speaks to people. Some of the more eye-opening verses are found in Romans 7:15-25. In verse 15 Paul admits that he does things he hates and doesn't do the things he loves.

In verse 17 Paul doesn't want to take responsibility for his actions so he says the devil makes him do it in so many words.

In verse 18 Paul says that no good thing dwells in him and he can't even figure out how to do that which is good.

In verse 19 Paul says the good that he would do he does not, but the evil that he would not do he does.

In verses 20-24 again Paul says that it's not him who does the evil he does, but the sin that dwells in him.

For the grand finale, look what Paul says in verse 25. He says that he serves the law of God with his mind and serves the law of sin with his flesh.

NEED WE BE REMINDED OF JESUS SAYS ABOUT ANY KIND OF SIN!!!!

Now we see why Paul made the statement in 2 Corinthians 12:7. In this verse Paul admits to constantly being visited by Satan who pumps up his ego and makes him think he should be exalted!! SO IS THIS WHY PAUL LIES TO GET FOLLOWERS AND CLAIMS TO BE AN APOSTLE????

In the following verses Paul lets the cat out of the bag. In 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Paul reveals that Satan and his messengers can transform themselves into apostles of Christ and angels of light.

From these verses we can see why Paul would go on to say in 2 Corinthians 11:4 and Galatians 1:6-7, that there is another gospel, spirit, and also another Jesus. Take heed to the quote Jesus made in Matthew 24:5, "For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."

Now, I ask the reader to take a good look at these verses. 2 Corinthians 11:16-18 Paul again admits that he is boasting himself and that he is seeking glory after the flesh just like everybody else.

I think the reader will find these next quotes by Paul to be quite astonishing. First in Romans 15:20, Paul says, "Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named lest I should build upon ANOTHER MAN'S FOUNDATION." Here in this quote Paul simply thinks of Jesus as JUST ANOTHER MAN AND NOT THE LORD AND SAVIOR!!!!

Maybe this is why it was so easy for Paul to come along and disregard the teachings of Jesus of 2,011 years ago. Look at these quotes found in the Book of Romans, namely 2:16, 16:25, and 2 Timothy 2:8. Paul makes it clear that he doesn't follow the laws that Jesus follows, but that he makes things up as he goes along and calls it his own gospel.

REMEMBER NOT TO FORGET WHAT PAUL SAID IN ACTS 26:9, where he says, "I verily thought with myself, that I ought to DO MANY THINGS CONTRARY TO THE NAME OF JESUS OF NAZARETH."

It must be demonstrated again that in 2 Timothy 1:11, Paul says, "Where unto I (Paul) am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles." He turned right around and said in 1 Corinthians 10:20 that, "But I (Paul) say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should not have fellowship with devils."

In closing, I would like to make two valid points that I hope the serious Christian will take to heart and conduct more research on the things on which our very souls depend.

First, it must be duly noted that the word EPISTLE SIMPLY MEANS LETTER!!!! Please if you care enough these are our souls, DO YOUR RESEARCH. So this was merely a letter that Paul was writing and had no divine inspiration whatsoever.

Secondly, in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Paul innovates again by saying, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES."

What is the point? The point is, with a little research you will find that the first epistle (letter) to the Corinthians was written in the year 55 A.D. This is important because the only scriptures Paul could have been referring to were the books of the Old Testament. Make note: these scriptures were not put together as the Old Testament until the year 325 A.D. during the 1st Council of Nicea. So what scripture was Paul talking about? He wasn't talking about any scripture, HE WAS JUST TAKING THINGS THAT HE HAD HEARD AND FABRICATED THE REST AS HE WENT ALONG!!!!

I hope this information has been thought-stirring and informative on this controversial subject. I strongly suggest to the reader that you do your own research, you will be amazed by what you will find. In the words of H.E. Rev. Dr. Malachi K. York, "Don't Believe Me Check It Out."
