There are many scientists around the world that are dedicated to finding cures for various diseases. Prominent research focuses on various kinds of cancer and also heart diseases. Cancer research has advanced significantly during the last decade, and a multitude of qualified reagents and antibodies are now at the scientists’ disposal to continue to evaluate the root causes of these diseases.

TIMP1 antibody: TIMP metallopeptidase inhibitor 1, a tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases, is a glycoprotein that is expressed from several tissues of organisms. The glycoprotein is a natural inhibitor of the matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), a group of peptidases implicated in degradation of the extracellular matrix. In addition to its inhibitory role against most of the known MMPs, the encoded protein is able to support cellproliferation in an extensive scope of cell types and will also have an anti-apoptotic purpose.

TIMP1 has been identified as a versatile molecule with divergent functions. It exhibits both keratinocyte and fibroblast growth factor-like domain and acts as a cell survival factor. Furthermore, it participates in tumour metastasis, angiogenesis, and inflammatory responses, in addition to CNS homeostasis. Moreover, high levels of TIMP1 have been found in several types of cancers (e.g. breast cancer) where the augment has been related to an adverse patient prognosis. As a result, TIMP1 will provide assistance to identify patients with particularly hostile diseases for adjuvant treatment. Human antibodies that bind to TIMP1 can be used as reagents to diagnose and treat disorders in which TIMP1 is elevated. For example, liver fibrosis, alcoholic liver disease, cardiac fibrosis, acute coronary syndrome, lupus nephritis, glomerulosclerotic renal disease, benign prostate hypertrophy, colon cancer, lung cancer, and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis can be treated from the TIMP-1 antibody.

IL6 antibody: Interleukin 6 is a glycoprotein synthesized by a variety of cells, including activated T cells and B cells, monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells and fibroblasts. IL6 is a pleiotrophic cytokine with an assorted range of actions including the modulation of the peripheral and central nervous system. IL6 antibody has a wide range of biological effects, and is an important function in the immune system and acts as both a pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokine responses.

The development of tumors is determined by inflammatory cells, which produce cytokines that stimulate the growth and survival of malignant cells. Recognition of such cytokines and their mechanism of action are important because inhibition of protumorigenic cytokine action may offer therapeutic and preventive avenues. IL-6 is a critical NF-κB-dependent protumorigenic cytokine produced by lamina propria myeloid cells that stimulates the survival and proliferation of premalignant IECs. Therefore, IL6 may be a useful target for prevention and treatment of colitis-associated cancer and other diseases. Consequently, the IL6 antibody is pertinent to curing many diseases such as diabetes, depression, prostate cancer, Alzheimer's Disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, atherosclerosis, multiple myeloma, and rheumatoid arthritis.
