Human Design was developed by Ra Uru Hu. In the 1980s, Ra had a mystical experience with something he called the “Voice.” During this time, which lasted eight days, he received a download of information which he later developed into the Human Design System. Gene Keys Chart

Richard Rudd, the creator of Gene Keys, had a mystical experience in 1987 and began having visions. After further study and many years, he developed the Gene Keys from those visions in 2002. The Gene Key chart is similar to the information in Human Design. It has the same base but focuses on navigating the information from the numbers. The Gene Keys tell us that the DNA or genes you were born with contain a code to unlock your higher purpose. You can only unlock your higher purpose with the right key. There are 64 keys. These are the key archetypes found in the Universe.

Gene Keys are also based on your birth date and numerology. The Gene Keys are an expansion into the characteristics from the other charts.
