Stop! Look inwardly, see a child born into a beautiful family, mum and Dad and all who are so interested in that child’s life are all around. Look closely, can you see the mum and dad struggling for whose name the child will first mention? Exactly! The child from the very first moment she/he gets their first word, everyone’s hands are on deck especially parents to find the perfect school for that toddler. The aunties and uncles, grandparents and even friends begin to torture that child with say “Apple” say “Auntie” say “Ice cream” say this or that all because they wants that child so fast to be able to communicate effectively by gathering all the knowledge of things around the child into their minds. They child begins to imitate the environment and much more, the things they see. This child goes a step further into pre school to college in most cases all in search of knowledge, does the child, who is now an adult knows the exact amount of knowledge they need? Do they understand how to purchase these knowledge? Do they understand how to sustained it? All they know is “I need to know this and that” but not “why?” They need to know.

Make it make sense that an average educated person spends so much time in school learning science, arts finance and so much yet end up poor and unsuccessful. They have lots of these books stalled in their minds and heads, they were told to read and pass, get these grade and then you go to the next class or be the best or could do whatever you want yet after that, spends most of the days in abject poverty and misery, can’t hold a conversation and can’t safe the day from all they learnt. I have found it! They didn’t understand how to purchase knowledge, I mean if I want to buy something there are considerations to why I should purchase that and of course there’s a define purpose to how I intend to use that knowledge.

If I decide to pursue music to what extent do I expect my music to be different, when I learn keys, how do I best make room for improvement, yeahhhh! All of us won’t make something entirely new but all of us are expected to sustain and improve something, back to the music story. How else can learning music set me apart, because it’s expected I should know something no one’s knows and no mediocrity knows except I openly tell them. Children cry, adults fail in school every day because of the fact that they don’t know how to purchase knowledge, they are over zealous with creating expertise in every aspect (I’m not against that) but what happens to what you can do? What happens to your fulfillment of being successful? Who takes care of you when most have drank so much and you cannot longer take it? but stagger in confusion.

I drop out a popular course recently because I didn’t know these earlier, I was busy checking and looking round on who says I will be good in it and who is getting the certificate, without consulting myself if it’s something I want to take and how far I see myself with it. This is your hint drop whatever you know has nothing to do with you.

Ask yourself sincerely

  • What do I want

*who am I? Not what people say I am

*why do I want this

*how can I get what I want.

It’s important you ask yourself these questions because not everyone is going to contribute to knowledge some are stationed to harness these beautiful knowledge and talent honed by others for a greater purpose. The Bible says in all your getting, get understanding. Pursue knowledge but purchase the right knowledge you need.

Say no to anxieties, waste of time and resources and unnecessary imitation especially imitating people who do not even know where they are and who they are. You are the only one with the ability to create value with just enough amount of resources at your disposal. If you must buy knowledge at least buy one that could be saved in the achieves and gallery i am tired of seeing helpless people, I am so tired that as I write it seems it’s a dejavu…exactly! it’s seems I have written this before! Do me a favour and do right so I could just write on something else.
