There are some horror stories about affiliate programs and

networks. Some people have heard them so many times, that

they are scared of joining one of these programs.

The stories they may have heard, are those related to

illegal programs or pyramid schemes. Basically, this kind

of marketing does not have real, worthy products.

You do not want to be associated with these schemes... you

want to be with a program that offers high quality product,

that you can readily endorse.

The growing number of those who have joined affiliate

programs already, and are succeeding, is proof that there

are reliable and quality affiliate programs out there.

Participating in an affiliate program will allow you to

work part-time or full time, your choice... It gives you

the opportunity to build a generous residual income. And it

also makes you the owner of a small business.

Some affiliate programs have already created lots of

millionaires... These are the living testimony of how hard

work, dedication, continuous prospecting and motivation

paid off for them.

If you are deciding to join an affiliate program, you must

make sure that you are joining a program, that is in line

with what you are capable of... this will give you the

assurance, that you are capable of doing what you want to

do...to come out successful.

Here are some tips you may want to look over before

choosing an affiliate program:

  1. Choose a program that you like and have an interest in.

One of the best ways of knowing if this is the kind of

program you wish to promote, is to purchase the product or

service yourself. Chances are, there are many others who

are also interested in the same program and products.

  1. Look for a program that is of high quality. For

instance, look for one that many experts is associated

with, in that particular industry. That way, you can be

assured of the standard of the program you will be joining.

  1. Join the ones that offer real and viable products. Do

some initial research. If possible, track down some of the

members and customers to give you testimonial on the

credibility of the program.

  1. A program that is catering to a growing target market.

This will ensure you, that there will be more and

continuous demands for your referrals. Make some inquiries.

There are forum discussions you can participate in, to get

good and reliable feedbacks.

  1. Finding a program with a compensation plan that pays out

a residual income, and a payout of 40% or more would be a

great choice. There are some programs offering this kind of

compensation. Look closely for one. You should not waste

your time with programs that do not reward substantially

for your efforts.

  1. You should also be aware of the minimum quotas that you

may have to fulfill, or sales target that may be too hard

to achieve. Some affiliate programs imposes pre-requisites

before you get your commissions. Just be sure that you are

capable of attaining their requirements. I personally

by-pass these programs...

  1. Select a program that has plenty of tools and resources,

that can help you grow your business, in the shortest

possible time. Not all affiliate programs have these

resources. Make sure you have decided on one with lots of

helpful tools, and training materials you can use.

  1. Check out if the program has a proven system that can

allow you to check your networks and compensation. Also

check to see if they have it available online, for you to

check anytime and anywhere.

  1. The program that is offering strong incentives for

members to renew their membership each time. The affiliate

program that provides continuous help and upgrades for its

products, will retain its members. These things can assure

the growth of your networks.

  1. Be aware of the things that other members are not happy

about in the program. Like with the ones mentioned above,

you can do your checking at discussion forums. If you know

someone in that same program, there is ho harm asking them

if there are any downsides involved.

You should get a thorough and intensive knowledge, about

the affiliate program and network you will be promoting...

Knowing the kind of program you are getting involved with,

will make you aware and prevent any problems you may

encounter in the future.

When you are ready to promote your business, you will need

some funding to do this. But you may not have that much,

that you can invest. Don't worry...

There are affiliate programs out there that allows you to

fund your business, no matter the size, without having to

deal with Banks or financial institutions. And you don't

have to repay one cent...

You may be asking yourself, is this for real? Can I really

get the money i need to promote my business, without paying

it back?

Well, I am here to tell you yes, it is true... if you are

willing to invest $5.00. And i am also here to tell you,

that if you can't invest $5.00 for your future business

development, business is not for you, period...
