The Source of Disease
Why do we get sick and develop disease?
Disease is caused by the internal poisoning of your body. Essentially your cells are tearing down faster than they are able to repair themselves. This result is the body is left in a weakened state and susceptible to disease.
There are many forces that will destroy your cells and essentially your health. These include:
• Auto-intoxicate.
o Consciously taking in poisons that destroy your body, i.e alcohol, smoking.
o Choosing a diet that builds up more poison in your system than you can eliminate.
Regardless if you eat an apple or potato chips, all food generates waste. This waste is then removed from our body through our skin and when we eliminate. We run into problems when our body can not get rid of all the waste it produces. This is generally due to our dietary habits, stress, and our inability to properly digest our food. This acid waste builds up in our systems and show up in the form of illness i.e. kidney stones and arterial plaque.
• Chemical poisoning, i.e. household cleaners, exposure to harmful chemicals
• Destructive mindset and negative thoughts
o Andrew Weil M.D. states in his book Health and Healing, "If we have poor coping skills, deficient social support, and high stress, then the internal balance of our bodies may be easily upset and our resistance lowered. Illness or disease, then, occurs more from our vulnerability than from external agents that are "the cause" of our health problems. The more vulnerable we are, the more risk we run of getting sick."

A Good Analogy…
Let’s say for instance that you have a problem with mice in your garage. In order to effectively eliminate the mice, the actual source of the problem, needs to be identified. The source may be garbage that was left out or a hole in the garage door. If you only call an exterminator to get rid of the mice you would not be dealing with the source of the problem which would only result in a short term cure. Saying "those stupid mice, they keep coming back to my garage!" makes as much sense as declaring "this stupid cold keeps coming back." If you don’t change the environment (i.e. the trash or in the case of your health, your lifestyle) the mice or disease will continue to return.
Are Germs the Source of Disease?
The Germ Theory
The germ theory of disease, discovered by Louis Pasteur, states that most infectious diseases are caused by germs. Pasteur’s "germ theory" led us to believe that "germs" are out there and ready to attack our healthy bodies at a moments notice and that we are powerless to stop them. This theory is based on studying the cause of the illness rather than the actual source that initiated the illness.
The secret to returning the body to a healthy state is to discover the true source of the illness. If not, we will constantly be cursing the illness while continuing to nourish the cause.
If we examine the source of an illness, we invariably find that it is related to lifestyle: the air we breathe, the water we drink, the foods, non-foods, drugs, chemicals we ingest. When a person develops an infection we tend to focus our efforts on healing the infection rather than tracking the actual source of the infection. The source could be any one or combination of items including liver damage from years of alcohol consumption or eating foods that are high in fat or processed. It may be that the liver never had a chance to recuperate, leaving the body to eliminate the poisons in some other way that manifests itself through disease.
When we deal directly with the source of the disease then the causes of the illness should disappear. This will allow us to lead a life full of healthy and vitality.
A Water Ionizer Can Change your Life!
What is a water Ionizer?
A water ionizer is a small appliance that removes common pollutants from tap water and increases the alkalinity of the water and the amount of oxygen in it. Drinking alkaline water from a water ionizer can help the body get rid of acidic wastes and help fight disease. As discussed earlier, disease develops in a body that is compromised. Cells that were once healthy will adapt to an acidic environment and become unhealthy cells which create an atmosphere that is more conducive to disease.
Decrease the Risk of Disease by Drinking Alkaline Water from a Water Ionizer.
To help our bodies get rid of these wastes its imperative to decrease the intake of acidic foods and increase the consumption of alkaline foods like fresh fruits and vegetables and alkaline water. Drinking alkaline water will help neutralize the acidic wastes we have built up in the body and restore the body to its slightly alkaline state. This is the optimal conditional to maintain excellent health and prevent disease.
