After an hour of cooking in the kitchen, you realized that your Boston Terrier is missing. What should you do now? By then, sadness and fear might have started to rise in your heart. But don't give up just yet. There is still possibility that you will be able to find your lost boston terrier.

Here are some steps on how to find back the four-legged love of your life:

Time is precious! The moment you find out that your boston terrier is missing, start searching for him immediately. First, search your area thoroughly. Dogs love to explore even in the tiniest space in your house. Look in the drain pipes, sewer drains, in culvert pipes or under vehicles. Look under the furniture, under the beds, inside the closets, shelves, bookcases, refrigerators, washing machine or dish washers. The bottom line is, you should leave no stone unturned just to find your lost pet.

Get all the help you can get. Ask family, neighbors and friends to search around the area and in the surrounding area where the dog was last seen. Tell any children or anybody you run across that you are looking for a dog. Give them the written description of your pet and if possible include your lost pet's latest photo. You may also need to include your phone number. Create an ad or announcement and leave a copy or two on high visibility areas such as parks, gasoline stations or grocery stores in your neighborhood.

Utilize the things that are familiar to your boston terrier. While walking around the neighborhood to look for your pet, have all your companions call your pet's name. You can also bring your pet's favorite squeaky toy, chews, toys, biscuits and other treats. Rattle the stuff loudly while calling your pet's name so as to make noises familiar to him. Since dogs are drawn to scent as much as to sound, you can put your dirty and sweaty clothes outdoors to get your pet attracted to the scent. You can also place his beddings and toys as well as smelly foods like tuna, freshly cooked chicken and other savory meat.

These are just some of the various things you can do should your pet get lost. Don't lose hope without giving a fight. The possibility of finding your boston terrier can be strong only if you are determined enough to do so.
