These doxie coats also fit other dog breeds such as maltese, bichon, shih tzu, jack russell short leg, lhasa apso, corgi narrow body, and peke. Normal cut coats are exclusively for dachshunds. Sizes are 10,12,13,14, 16, and 18 inches. Popular styles are snuggler, plaid turnout, and nylon turnout. These coats come in assorted colors.
Great Dane Coats
These coats are especially designed for Great Danes. It has a much longer body length than that of normal dog coats. They are designed to have smaller necks in order to fit the dog perfectly. Popular coat styles are snuggler and nylon turnout. Colors are available in black, green, and red. Sizes range from 32 to 34 inches.
How to Measure your Dog
A dog’s coat size is measured from the base of the neck up to the base of the tail. Be sure that your dog is standing squarely on the ground with its head up to get an accurate measurement. Measure the dog from the base of the neck up to the end of the body while your dog is relaxed and looking ahead. It is better to order in even sizes that range from 8 inches to 28 inches. The size 13 inches is the only exception to this rule. If the tail of your dog goes up, round down. Also, if your dog’s tail goes up, round up.
