The Broom 370 and the Broom 455
Review by the Skippers Guide - as seen through the eyes of Broom Boat Customers.
Quality and Innovation at its Best .
Broom Boats have a reputation for knowing what their customers want. A long history of boat building underlies the business and with it comes a reputation for 'quality and innovation' .
This comes as no surprise as the yard has generated a loyal customer base, spanning generations, as well as an ever growing collection of new customers and admirers. Broom Boats know that today's customer demands economical engine performance, bright (and airey) interiors and a quality from 'home to home' feel . The use of quality materials, combined with modern lines and of course, fine sea-keeping qualities is as important today as it has always been and Broom have the track record to deliver.
Broom Boats response to their discerning customer needs are personified by the Broom 370 and 455. At the Skippers Guide we had a look for ourselves. This is not a technical write up. We talked to actual customers of Broom Boats. In summary, the overall feedback we received was that the boats are fantastic and indicated that Broom had delivered exactly what their customers wanted. The boats have been created by Broom with tradition and expertise, with the genius of design expert Graham Warren. The Broom 370 and the Broom 455 are definitely part of the love affair with Broom Boats. The new models excited their existing customers as well as enticing new customers. Success!
The art of successful new boat models must be to retain your existing customers and attract new ones to the fold. So the mantra is 'Unquestionably Broom. Definitely Different'. The Broom 370 and the Broom 455 are very obviously from the Broom Boat Yard but they are even better. Customers noticed that the Broom 370 has the trade mark aft cabin - always a winner with Yachtsmen. However Broom has enhanced this with a panoramic window. There is so much attention to detail including replacing hinged doors with sliding doors, an addition of a chaise longue along with modern fabrics, and the stairs being beautifully back lit. A top quality Bose entertainment system is in place to compliment the ambience. New customers are also very excited about the range of engines, especially the hybrid engine which can save a lot of money as you can now cruise just with the electrical power. Speed enthusiasts are also catered for with the Twin Volvo 330's which allows for speed and economical performance. This allows the discerning customer to enjoy luxurious cruising on the sea or river, but in the end, it is all about a personal choice.
The new features of the Broom 455 aft-cabin cruiser are completely overwhelming, with state of the art hydraulic submersible bathing platform, a huge upper deck with seating for 10 people and a sun lounger conversion too. The list goes on! Broom boat owners and potential customers seem to be really impressed with the 3 cabin layout. There are the two master state rooms with en suite facilities, and a third twin cabin which incorporates beds and wash facilities. Again there is a practical choice of quality engines allowing cruising speeds of 22, 28 or 30 Knots depending on the customers' choice of engine model.
The customers agree that the Broom 455 & Broom 370 have taken fine cruising, comfort, harbour living and entertainment, to a whole new level.
Broom Boats received a lot of positive feedback from their loyal customers. They listen and they deliver! The overwhelming message from Broom customers past and present shows that Broom Boats with always deliver exactly what the customer wants.
Broom will be exhibiting a new 370 at the Tullet Prebon London International Boat Show on stand L117.
Broom will then be exhibiting a different 370 at Boot Dusseldorf the 43rd International Dusseldorf boat show in Hall 5 on stand 5D40.
Well done to Broom Boats!
