Let's understand that man is a spirit, has soul (mind) and lives in a body. Imperatively God can't do anything without the three parts mentioned and likewise Satan.

The scripture tells us that there's a spirit in a man which is the breathe of the almighty (job 32:8), again the book of Romans talks about the renewing of our mind in (Rom 12:2). Which is basically to prepare us against the darts of the devil.

Now WITCHCRAFT or WICCA is centred around using demonic potions to mind-control their victims, others involve summoning dead spirits to inflict spiritual attacks on their victims or to answer queries pertaining to the future-which could be seen between Saul and Witch of Edor.(1Sam 28:7-20)

Witchcraft is merely an attack from the devil and these attacks are not physical but spiritually transmitted. And the first recipient is the mind ( which is the seat of power and intellectual prowess). That's why Paul talked about the subject of MIND RENEWAL because he understands that's the point of entry of satanic suggestions which comprises of cynical statements.

Scripturally I want to establish that our mind is the battle of Field of spiritual warfare. Let's look at some biblical examples:

PETER

1. Jesus rebuked Satan who talked through Peter:

Matt.16.23 - Jesus turned to Peter and said, "Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, and not from God's."

Now from this scripture you can understand there was no physical Satan there but spiritually Satan induced or activated Peter to speak against the divine will of God, this how witchcraft manipulations works; Satan orchestrates his plans and opposes the purpose of God through mind-suggestions and I can tell you confidently that no evil act anywhere that wasn't first processed from the mind.

2. Judas Iscariot

Luke.22.3 - "Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve disciples"

This one heart wrong from the onset even Jesus knew and called him the devil (john 6:70), his heart was mortgaged to the devil, probably this made him to continuously steal from the church money ( John 12:6), Satan was already in charge of his mind. Judas didn't have physical conversation with Satan about Jesus betrayal, he opened the portals of his mind and Satan entered, even though he was fulfilling a prophecy but his heart was wrong because remorse can't substitute repentance. He didn't repent after he betrayed Jesus rather he returned the money; and committed suicide. (Matt 27:5)

3. DAVID

1Chr.21.1 - "Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the Israelites".

Satan will always want to oppose the will of God through his mind-suggestions strategies. David knew it's only at the command of God that Israel can be counted because they're God's people but David couldn't resist that temptation of conducting census for Israel. Joab tried to stop him as well but he resisted him. (1Chr 21:1-3)

Even God told Moses the modus operandi of conducting census according (Exo 30:12) for Israelites but because Satan has hijacked the mind of David he couldn't recede.

Now Satan wasn't with David physically but he was attacked David through mind-controlling techniques that even made David forgot there's a procedure to observe after or before the census in Israel.

4.JESUS TEMPTATION

Matt.4.1 - Then Jesus was led out into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted there by the Devil.

Matt.4.2 - For forty days and forty nights he ate nothing and became very hungry.

Matt.4.3 - Then the Devil came and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, change these stones into loaves of bread."

Matt.4.4 - But He answered and said, "It is written, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."'

Matt.4.5 - Then the Devil took him to Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple,

Matt.4.6 - and said, "If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, 'He orders his angels to protect you. And they will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone.'"

Matt.4.7 - Jesus responded, "The Scriptures also say, 'Do not test the Lord your God.'"

Matt.4.8 - Next the Devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him the nations of the world and all their glory.

Matt.4.9 - "I will give it all to you," he said, "if you will only kneel down and worship me."

Matt.4.10 - "Get out of here, Satan," Jesus told him. "For the Scriptures say, 'You must worship the Lord your God; serve only him.'"

Matt.4.11 - Then the Devil went away, and angels came and cared for Jesus.

BELOW ARE SOME BIBLICAL TRUTHS THAT FURTHER ESTABLISHES THAT THE TEMPTATIONS OF JESUS WASN'T A PHYSICAL BATTLE.

Satan didn't meet Jesus physically. Jesus was in human form; which form did Satan have in order to tempt Jesus ?

1.Although Jesus was a man in all standards during His temptations, it is however NOT POSSIBLE for the devil to drag His hands like a young child and take Him to the pinnacle of the church in Jerusalem, as seen in (Matthew 4:5), and to the top of the mountain as seen in (Matthew 4:8). Firstly, let's understand that when God asked Satan where he has been he said "I have roaming to and fro the earth" (job 2:2) from that scripture we can deduce that this movement couldn't have been a physical movement but a sort of CELESTIAL CONSTELLATION MOVEMENT (Luke 10:18). So Satan couldn't have had physical interaction with Jesus, he could've projected those tempting questions to Jesus via his mind because the bible states He was in human form (Phil 2:7)

2.Jesus created everything including the devil himself according (colossians 1:16) and therefore, it is NOT POSSIBLE for the CREATOR to be subjected to His CREATURE.

Col.1.16 - "Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see--kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him".

Therefore, there's correlation between witchcraft and our mind; the source of witchcraft is "devil"and devil isn't ubiquitous, he works with "spirit agents" that are in allegiance to him. Spirits travels through vibrational sound, sounds emits energy, spiritual energies don't hit the body first they hit the mind(seat of power), the mind sends wave shocks to the brain and when not dispelled immediately they form spiritual strongholds, which in turn causes attacks in different forms in our body. But the scriptures admonishes us to guard our minds- Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do. (Prob 4:23)
