Simple but heartfelt. Whether it's a song or a chant, Karen Drucker's music is written from the heart. Every song she writes comes with a message of love, compassion and positivity. "I am so blessed" is one of her songs with few words, but those few words say so much.

"I am so blessed

I am so blessed

I am so grateful for all that I have

I am so blessed

I am so blessed

I am so grateful

I am so blessed."

Simple but heartfelt. Think about it. When we begin to notice our blessings, there is no limit to them. However, even with so many things to be thankful for, there are many that we don't even think about. Marvels of nature, marvels of the body, marvels of the mind. Where do they come from? The miracle of the human body alone baffles scientists every day. How long will we live, how soon will we die? Who knows the reasons why? But what we do know is that positive thoughts keep us happier and healthier.

Why is it that some of us feel so blessed while others seem so depressed? Could it be as simple as the negative thoughts in our mind that create an attitude adjustment that needs to be fixed? And if so, how long does it take for us to recognize it? With a simple song like Karen's, adjusting our attitude can take place in a heartbeat. It's an easy reminder for us to stay positive and upbeat. The good things in life are there to experience every day if only we pay attention to them.

Imagine yourself being a writer. In order for your words to be understood and make good sense to others they must be reasonable and have some logic to them. When your mind is in the right place there's no limit to what the hand writes down.

Now think about a composer of music who must add a vibration of sound to their words to make them pleasant to the ear. How about an artist who must add form and color to their words for us to picture them in a beautiful painting. And that's just the beginning. Great cooks contrive tasty concoctions. Builders provide comfort and ease with single story homes or skyscrapers with top floors ascended by elevators that zip us up and down from top to bottom while we hardly feel the movement. Bridges are built over vast waters to connect us to each other.

Being blessed can mean having good luck or fortune, experiencing a sense of well-being or simply recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives. Counting our blessings can lead us to a sense of purpose, inner peace, and a meaningful relationship with a higher power.

Like Karen's song, the practice of gratitude is another powerful force that can help shift your perspective towards the positive. When you make a conscious effort to focus on what you have rather than what you lack and be thankful for it, you can open up a whole new world of abundance. When reflecting on the good things in your life you will start to notice them more often.

Whether it's heartfelt or simple, singing Karen's song or practicing gratitude, both will lift your spirit and deepen your connection with others. Your energy will shift towards positivity and attract more blessings into your life. Both have a calming effect on the mind and body which reduces stress. Pay attention to your blessings. Savor them, and give thanks for them. Kiss - keep it simple sweetheart. "I am so blessed" is a blessing for you.
