The clock tower at Puerta del Sol is another major attraction in this marvellous city owing to the significance it holds especially on New Year’s eve when the bell rings and Spaniards eat twelve grapes to usher in the new year.

Like in the whole of Europe, football events are a major attraction in Madrid. Being home to among others the Real Madrid Football Club, visitors come in great numbers during such seasons as La Liga to indulge in the energy that football always seems to elicit.

Madrid’s night life is the most exciting yet. Visitors have joined in the partying spirit of the locals here who party all night long. The drinking and dancing is often coupled with home bands that perform in designated clubs as regularly as every weekend. Bilbao, Tribunal and Puerta del Sol are some of the clubbing areas that have visitors flocking 24 hours to have a great time.
