Summer is here, and that means one things, your kids are going to want to have lots of sleepovers with their friends. So while they will most certainly use their kids sleeping bags that are sized just right for them. With so many on the market, they will have no problem finding one that suits them. There are floral patterns for girls, and sports patterns for boys. Not to mention that kids sleeping bags come in every color of the rainbow. Children can even get their initials embroidered on their slumber bags and bed rest pillows so they will always know which ones are theirs. There are also a lot of other fun ways for them to use their slumber bags.
Movie Nights
If you little ones and their friends have kids sleeping bags, they can roll them out on the floor and get comfy while watching their favorite movie. If they get sleepy they are already in the perfect position with their blankets to watch the movie. If they get tired of lying flat on the floor in their slumber bag, they can use bed rest pillows which will prop them up so they can see the movie better and provide them with some back support.
Backyard Camping
Children can take their slumber bags into the backyard during the warm summer nights and go camping. If they have a wooden swing set with a fort, they can climb up to it and unroll their kids sleeping bags in it. This is especially great if the fort has a roof or a tarp over it. Another fun option would be to camp out with their slumber bags in a tent in the backyard. Whether it is a large adult tent or a smaller kids play tent, you little ones will have a blast laying in them. If the ground is to hard or their backs get sore, they can always prop themselves up on with comfy, plush bed rest pillows. They also provide a great place for children to lean back against when they all sit up and tell scary stories or read their favorite books to one another. Story time will be a blast when kids can snuggle in and get comfy in their slumber bags as they listen to the story teller.
Arts & Crafts & Activities
Kids sleeping bags also provide a great place for your children to curl up in and stay toasty when they are drawing pictures or coloring on the floor. They can lay inside them and draw, or cover up with them and draw while being supported by bed rest pillows. They also provide a great place to lounge when playing board games, video games, cards or when doing puzzles. The best part is that when kids grow tired of these activities and want to go to bed, they don’t have very far to travel. All they have to do is push their bed rest pillows to the side and wiggle into their slumber bags and go to bed.
