Harbour Town Lighthouse – Widely recognized as the iconic symbol of Hilton Head Island, this beautiful lighthouse constructed in 1970 by Charles Fraser provides guest with amazing views of the surrounding area and an engaging gift shop. Be sure you don’t miss out on the red and white treasure of the island.

Melrose Golf Course – Direct from the imagination of the legend himself, this Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is located on Daufuskie Island and is known for its intimate raised greens in the middle of quiet marshes. The 18th hole is positioned on a thin peninsula over the ocean. You’ll even enjoy the ferry ride out to the island itself.
Coastal Discovery Museum – This wonderful museum has always been a favorite with families. The complex has exhibits and fun activities that range from both indoor experiments to outdoor adventures and they are all educational. You’ll be able to learn all about the local history, ecology and wildlife. When the weather is right you can schedule a tour; everything from dolphin cruises to beach walks and trolley tours are available.
Historic Town of Bluffton – When you’re looking to get away from it all and relax somewhere quiet, the Historic Town of Bluffton is the place to go. Located just west of Hilton Head, this historic town features beautifully preserved historic homes as well as a gorgeously taken care of Gothic-style Church of the Cross from 1857 and a breathtaking revival 1853 Campbell Church. If you’re looking to get away to somewhere peaceful and really relax, Historic Town of Bluffton should absolutely be in your top 10.
Port Royal Golf Club – You’ll find this golf complex next to the Westin Resort. Comprised of three engaging courses, Port Royal is sure to entice any golfer that hits its links.
