Please Note: Everyone has their own style, and you too will develop your own as you become a better roller. Just because you don’t do things the same as me, doesn’t means it’s wrong.
Step1 – Use a pair of scissors and carefully cut a rectangle thin piece of cardboard (Rizla’s green card is good ;) ) about 1 wide and 3 cm long.
Step 2 – Roll the cardboard into a cylinder shape. This may take a bit of practice but once you’ve got the hang of it’s easy. The diameter of your roach depends on the thickness you like your cigarettes to be. Thin roach for thin cig etc.
Step 3 – Take a rolling paper and place it onto a firm flat surface in front of you. Place your roach in whatever end you feel comfortable with. Try to get the end of the roach lined up with the end of the paper.
Step 4 – Take a small chunk of tobacco (about half a gram-ish) and pull it apart with your fingers, placing the stringy bits into the papers evenly.
Step 5 – Pick up the paper and its content and begin to roll it into a cylindrical shape between your thumb and index finger. Use your middle finger with your index finger if you need to.
Step 6 – Once you are happy with the shape and thickness of your cigarette begin to roll the front of the paper down slowly with your thumb. Use your index finger and middle finger at the back to support it.
Step 7 – Once the front of the paper is level with your tobacco press down gently with your thumb and trap the contents between it and your middle finger.
Step 8 – Roll up gently with your middle finger, using your thumb to tuck the paper under the tobacco and your index finger for support.
Step 9 – Roll the paper up leaving the gum in view. Lick the gum to wet it slightly and then finish the roll up being conscious of making sure the gum is sticking.
Step 10 – Remove any excess tobacco sticking out the end and spark that baby up!
