Nearly all guys when they see a beautiful girl in a bar they do one of three things:

Talk to their friends about the girl but do absolutely nothing about it

Dash in to approach her without having any clue what to say

Hold back until they are wasted enough to walk over to her, never the best idea!

Is it any surprise that guys fail to pick up women in these circumstances?

If you like the look of a girl you should prepare on how to seduce her. Follow my pick up plan and most of the time you will succeed in getting the girl you attracted to.

First of all you must prepare yourself if you want to be successful. Check your appearance subtly, make sure you appear as good as possible. Observe the girl who you want to approach as it may help the flow of conversation later. How is she dressed, how does she talk with friends, does she appear as though she has a good sense of humor?

While you are studying her try to make brief eye contact with her (without starring), your approach will then not be such a shock.

The final part of your pre-approach work is finding something to say. Pick Up Lines can work if you pick the right type of line for the right girl. If she appears as though she has a sense of humor you could drop a cheesy line, as long as it is clear that you are delivering the line to be funny. If you can not think of anything to say it is always valuable to have seven or so pick up lines you can rely on.

Also think of some conversation you can say after the initial pick up line. Lots of guys say a pick up line and then stumble straight afterwards because they have dried up. This is were your earlier observations can help, you could speak about her clothes, friends or the music she likes. Do not ignore the obvious topics about work and interests as this will let her know you are genuinely attracted to her.

When you do approach her and use your line it is vital that you give it with a smile. You should be aiming to appear none threatening and friendly. Smiling is very effective, if you smile at anyone it is difficult for them not to smile back.

Depending on how the approach went offer to buy her a drink as early as you can, if she accepts it is your first green light. If she says no, tell her you will not bite and ask again, often the girl will say yes at this point and you have just shown some determination which she will like.

If your initial approach is a success remember to keep showing an interest in her and do not talk about yourself unless she asks you. Do not be frightened to compliment her, girls adore flattery if it is genuine.

Do not ignore body language while you are talking to her. Regularly touch the outside of her arm and move closer in as you talk to her. If she starts to be tactile with you, it shows she is interested.

Finally remember to ask her for a date, or to take her home that night depending on the situation. You must ask for an outcome otherwise all your planning work will have been for nothing. When you part make sure you give her a kiss on the cheek, this will demonstrate to her that you are interested and that you respect her.
