If you are looking to get into producing music, then you probably are looking to find some good software to make beats. Believe me, you are not alone in this search. In fact, there are hundreds of different programs out there that you can buy. The goal of this article, is to sort through those hundreds and point out only the best few. After reading this article you should have a better understanding of what is available, and which one is right for you.

It's pretty universal when it comes to the top three choices. Many producers in the industry always recommend either Sonic Producer, FL Studio (formerly Fruity Loops), or Reason. Out of those three I personally favor one much more than the other two, but I will leave my personal opinion out of this article. So let's start with some reasons these three softwares are picked over the other hundreds.

First, while these programs do vary drastically in price, they are all affordable for the beginning producer. Someone looking for a very good and profession software to make beats will be happy with these choices and it wont cost them an arm and a leg! That's the major difference between beat making software, and actual equipments (such as the Akai MPC series). Equipment is expensive and it's really hard to justify paying that much if you are not making any money off of your beats, whereas the software is a small investment for the potential upside of this.

Also, all of these softwares are pretty user friendly. They all give you the ability to begin making music immediately! Simply download the software to your computer, watch a couple tutorial videos if you choose, and then begin creating beats and toning your skills. Unlike with actual equipment, you wont have to spend the first few weeks just learning how to use these programs.

Creating music is a great creative outlet and I commend you for wanting to get involved. I can personally tell you that creating an amazing beat is probably the best feeling in the world. To be able to bring your friends over and show them what you just made, from scratch, is truly amazing! So now that you know that you want to experience that feeling and make some of your won music, I recommend looking for some personal reviews on each of the three listed softwares.

I promised to keep my personal opinion out of this article, but I did a little research and found a great review that looks specifically at the 3 software programs I just discussed. Before you purchase any of these, I recommend looking at this site so you can see which one is the best.
