Fear is the number cause for defeat in a Christian. We do have many reasons for fear in this world. We fear health and wealth issues more than anything else. Health has become a number one cause of concern for many today. Epidemics and obesity can trigger many fearful consequences. Wealth is another that can challenge and cripple us with fear. Wealth issues relate to our finances. Our financial worries depend on our source income. For the majority it is primary the job situation. Most work as employees. There is no secure job in this world. A job security is the thinnest and mist uninsured of all. Any time your job can be terminated due to carious reasons.

For a few who self employed or run a business it is still a major threat to income if it fails. There is no business in this world that cannot fail. Jesus warned us that all treasures in this world can be challenged. They can be stolen, destroyed and gone. Fear is unnecessary if we already know the risks. Still million s still count these earthly treasures of income form human sources as security and fear they might lose them. How foolish we are.

Health is always challenging in this worked of organic and chemically tainted food. They are almost poison. The food we cannot is certainly not healthy. God promises us that he is our healer. He even promises the Israelites we they came out of Egypt that they will not be affected any of the diseases of the Egyptians. God promised no disease. Then why are we worried and fearful of health issues?

The reasons for fear are unbelief. God charges the children of Israel with unbelief more than anything else. That was the big sin. Fear dominates where there is unbelief. Unbelief dictates our faith or fear. So we cannot have faith and fear at the same time.
