There is one obstacle that prevents millions of people being happy instead they refuse to accept it and remain miserable. It is a fact you need to accept to achieve true happiness, so what is it?
Let’s find out.
The fact is that we are not all born equal – Now we all know this but most people simply can’t accept it. They constantly moan about others being better looking, having more wealth or being healthier – Well the bad news is you cant change your lot – the good news is you can accept it and make the most of your life.
Your life is your life and the only one you are going to get so accept it and make the most of it and you can do this in two ways
You are Lucky!
If you take your life against billions of people in the world you are probably extremely lucky.
Think about the billions of people that live in poverty, suffer terrible illnesses or death and maybe your life is not so bad. Many of these people you can look at and see their happy, because they have accepted this key fact:
Life is what you make it!
Instead of thinking about how bad things are think about the positives in your life and how to get more from it.
Once you do this you will see things in a different light and start to become happy and do things that you would not otherwise do because you’re wallowing in misery.
Sure, life is not a bed of roses for everyone and this includes a lot of happy people – they just draw positives from negatives that happen to them and then try and live their life to the full.
Draw Inspiration from others
There are plenty of inspirational people around and they may not have had the best of lives in many respects but their happy, positive and are never bitter they just get on with life.
Look at people such as Nelson Mandela - kept in solitary confinement by an oppressive regime, but when he was realized from gaol he forgave united his people and never seems sad.
How about actor Christopher Reeve? He had everything taken away by a riding accident, yet despite being paralysed from the waist down, vowed to walk again and help others.
There are many other examples but you get the point – Make the most of your life and although we may not all be born equal, life is what you decide to make it.
Acceptance of the good and bad in your life and drawing positives is really the key to being happy.
