Laptops came into existence in the twenty first century and since then have made a lot of difference in people's life. All those people using computers in their professional and personal life have benefited by switching to laptops. All of them are now successfully using laptops at their workplace and/or at home. Almost all well known organizations are now using laptops for their day to day transactions and proper functioning. Now a businessman no more needs to sit in front of his personal computer for a very long time and waste his time. He can now carry his computer along and continue working from any corner of the world. He can also connect his computer to some other computer in the network, be it at home or in the office network, to transfer valuable data and to stay in touch. In such networks more than one computer are attached to the network sharing files and other useful data and hardware. Connecting your laptops with this network ensures safety and in case of some emergency you can carry these laptops along and without much loss of data.
Besides portability this unique combination also offers some more benefits. Not only you can surf the internet, you can share some important files as well. All you need to do is just put those files on the shared disk drive and viola, anybody can share them. Your colleagues can also get some urgent files from you while you are sitting at home. When your laptop is connected to the printer through wireless connection you can simply give a command from anywhere through your laptop and can get the documents printed. Now your colleagues no more have to wait for you to get latest reports. Just give a print command from home and the printer at your office shall provide the printed version of the same.
How To Make A Wireless Connection
These laptops are nothing without a wireless connection. To configure a wireless connection on your laptop, you need to click the Start menu and select Control Panel. But before that you should set a gateway in the personal computer. In the Control Panel, you shall find the icon called Network Connections. Double click on the same. A wizard appears. Follow all the steps in the wizard till the last page with Finish button appears. Click the button. Follow the similar steps for rest of the laptops to be connected to the network.
