Is your life similar to that of like being on a roller coaster never knowing how you are going to be feeling from one day to the next. Well perhaps your like many and have the classic Hypoglycemia signs. Do you wake up in the morning feeling as thou you have a giant hangover, knowing that you have not had a drink in ages. This also depending on whether he could sleep the night before due to prolonged bouts of insomnia.
The signs of Hypoglycemia symptoms can be varied, with things like depression, severe mood swings, chronic fatigue, cravings for sweet food at any time day or night, migraine headaches, and one person described it as thou his body was out of control to the point he became distressed and disorientated.
There are many more classic Hypoglycemia signs like personality change, blurred or double vision, nausea, shakiness, palpitations, sweating with a high body temperature. Then you have the direct opposite where you have a feeling of coldness, and how your skin feels clammy. Also you suffer with amnesia, slurred speech, abnormal breathing, and in extreme circumstances it can even lead to a coma.
The Hypoglycemia symptoms can be so varied it would be difficult for a Doctor to diagnose, and your Doctor can only diagnose you if he has a full list of symptoms which would then give him a clue as to what is happening to your body. At the same time he would then arrange for a blood test which should show him what the problem is.
Through Medical tests it has been proved that a lack of Glucose to the brain can do weird things hence the craving for sweet things as your body tells you that you need it. Sometimes these Hypoglycemia signs and symptoms can be mild in their effects, and that when they happen there would be no real damage to the brain. In normal circumstances it’s only when the patient gets older that permanent damage to the brain will happen.
In some cases Hypoglycemia occurs in Hospitals where the patient gets Hypoglycemia as a secondary illness after things like major surgery, or sometimes where the patient has gone through a traumatic experience and is in intensive care or in similar situations.
It has also been proved that Hypoglycemia is the next step to Diabetes, and if the symptoms are ignored the patient can be in all sorts of problems.
Please note that I am not a Doctor, or anything to do with the Medical profession, and if you think you have symptoms as described please make an appointment with your own Doctor.
