Wedding No-Nos

There are a couple of things which actually should be plain to any person, but which are, for whatever reason, blind spots to some. This is clear from the strange situation which has been given light by the increase in reality TV. A number of these programs feature a groom-to-be making decisions about his wedding day, while the bride sits back ( sometimes at the home of a mate ) waiting to see what her dear achieves. As a consequence of this type of programming, lots of men have made some actually horribly marriage choices.
First, though a man might have 2 massive loves in his life ( his wife and his sports team ), mixing them in a wedding is maybe the worst call a groom could make. If both partners are equally enormous fans of a team, involving their colors in the marriage as part of planning is routinely fine. Otherwise, keep your sports keenness away from your marriage. Don't make the error of thinking that your marriage and your sports team are in any fashion equal.
2nd, the location for a wedding actually matters. You can even be offered a deal on a facility. This would allow you to economize on the location, and gives you the chance to spend that money some place else. Smart, right? Wrong! Your bride will most probably not thanks if the photographs from your critical day happen to feature the local sewage plant.
Ultimately, don't ever make the mistake of thinking that holding a wedding reception at your favorite bar is fine, because normally, it is not. True, they do know you there, and you will no doubt feel welcomed. And if it is a place with which you both feel a potent affinity, it may be fine. But in the end, making such a call will only make you seem like you blanked your bride's wishes. Avoid it, if you possibly can!
