Hello there! I hope everyone’s enjoying tonight. I am _____ (name) for those who don’t know me. And yeah, according to the groom, I am his best man. (pause for a laugh)

_____ (groom) and I were friends since childhood – when we were still both young and ugly, but already having the times of our lives – until he and _____ (bride) decided to live together so we pretty knew each other. When we had our first crushes – to pretty girls that were 3 years older than us, they were also friends – we promised that we’d be each other’s best man when we’ll get married someday. But of course, since our groom was also growing with a brother, I only half-expected he really take his words on it.

Well today, my good friend’s time to shine has come, and I have never been so happy for him than today: marrying our pretty bride _____ (bride). Man, you made it first ahead of me, but it’s alright, I know you just followed your heart when you two decided to tie the knot already.

_____ (bride), hear me out for a little while, you might not want to regret hearing this for your married life. Promise me man, don’t kill me, I just love _____ (bride), I only want what’s good for her welfare. For _____ (bride) and for everyone’s benefit, _____ (groom) is an annoying man. He’ll wake you up every morning and tell you that you ought to eat breakfast every day because it is vital for one’s health, so watch your figure, lady. He’s also got this attitude of getting into one’s nerves by trying to make you laugh even when your day was so awful – watch out, he’ll try anything and everything to make you laugh. Yeah, sometimes he really can make you laugh out of it. But hey, why am I still saying these stuff? _____ (bride) probably knows it already. (teases couple) On the flipside, all you need to do to keep him for the rest your lives together is to love my friend because he said that’s what he loves about you. Oops! Forgive me _____ (groom) for blurting it out. (pause for a laugh) I know right, it sounds so cheesy, but hey, my friend’s a good catch..so will you pick him? (laughs)
