There is certainly no shortage of choices for wedding flowers. But among the limitless options, a great choice to consider the orchid, a flower that comes in just about every size and color you could imagine. They also accommodate just about every use and need you would have for wedding flowers. The perfect choice for any wedding!
The flower you choose can also make a statement at your wedding, as many flowers are said to have certain meeting. For instance, blue hydrangeas represent friendship and loyalty and daisies and lilacs are for innocence. Orchids on the other hand make the perfect statement of "beauty". What a perfect statement to make at your wedding!
Flowers have many uses at a wedding. Possibly the most prominent of these uses is the wedding bouquet. Bouquets are usually traditionally white. Another thing to keep in mind about bouquets is that they are normally held up very close to a person’s face, so be sure not to choose a flower with a fragrance too strong. It is true that orchids come in a wide array of colors, but these include many shades of beautiful whites. Orchids also offer species that don’t have too strong of a fragrance as well.
Another common use for flowers at a wedding is the centerpieces. Orchids are an ideal choice for these as well, for a few reasons. For one, especially if you are planning in holding a summer wedding, you may want to select a flower that will hold up to warmer temperatures. Orchids do very well in warm and dry conditions. Orchids are also available throughout the year, unlike some other flower options, meaning you can use them no matter what time of year you plan to hold your wedding. Orchids can grow quite tall and beautiful, making them a great centerpiece. Also make sure you consider allergies and how certain flowers may affect certain guests.
Orchids also make a great option for a wedding on a budget. This is because if you consider using orchids for all of your wedding needs, you can buy in bulk by going straight to the grower and you can save a ton.
