Here in the UK we don’t get to wear a wear bridal tiara very often. The US equivalent of proms are only just becoming common place so for most current brides who left high school years ago, wearing a tiara is once in a life time experience.
You should only choose your wedding tiara once you have your wedding dress sorted, you can purchase it from the same bridal store as your bridal gown but if you’re looking to save money you should buy it online. This is simply because your bridal tiara should complete your outfit, it shouldn't be the starting point for it.
Your tiara should compliment your entire wedding look, it shouldn't overpower your wedding dress or your facial features. You will need to also take into consideration any wedding jewelry or other hair accessories such as bridal hair pins you are planning to wear.
Your tiara should compliment your face shape and wedding hair style so it enhances your natural beauty. If you choose a bridal tiara which isn’t right for you, then you might be the focus of attention for the wrong reasons and you’ll look back on your wedding photos wishing you’d bought a different one.
Pick a bridal tiara that's elegant as this will give a classic and expensive look. Also remember that you will be looking at your wedding photos for a long time so don't go with a wedding tiara because it was in fashion at the time, remember looking at photo's of yourself from the 80's?
If you want to choose a wedding tiara because your favourite celebrity wore it at their wedding feel free as long as the tiara suits you too. Just as perfume smells different on other people, wedding tiara look different too.
Bridal tiaras can be created from lots of different materials, for example, often pearl, diamantes and crystals are used, they also come in lots of different styles and various heights.
