Your husband calls and says "The boss wants me to stay late again and work on his new project. I will be home late". This has happened quite a bit lately.

Your wife has suddenly started going out with her friends and staying out very late, "girls night out", she calls it. You know most of her friends and none of them like to party and stay out late.

The two situations described above could be totally innocent and could be exactly what your spouse says they are. But they could also be signs of cheating.

Listen Up and Pay Attention

Daily habits and routines, most of us have them whether we want to admit it or not. You probably know your spouse's habits and routines even if you have been married a short time.

If your mate is doing things in their life significantly different, such as staying out with the "guys" (or "girls") late, sleeping in much later than usual, wearing a different cologne or perfume or a multitude of small things that all of a sudden seem different in their routine habits, they could be having an extramarital affair.

Hiding Cell Phone Records

When you walk in and your partner is on his or her cell phone, do they immediately walk out of the room or get very quiet? This could be a sign of cheating.

Also, if you have access to their cell phone bill, look to see if one number that you don't recognize is either called a lot or there are calls into the phone frequently from that number. These could be cheating signs.

Change In Attitude About Sex

People who are having affairs frequently, without realizing it, change their sex habits. They will either want more or less sex with their mate, but the frequency will often change.

Letting Home Chores Go Undone

Not paying attention to home chores. If your mate doesn't get the normal home chores or repairs done when in the past they always have, this can be because their attention is not in that home, but somewhere else.

Suddenly Secretive About The Computer

Maybe in the past, you and your spouse have shared a log in on a common computer. Now your mate has set up their own log in and has password protected it.

You also used to share an email, now your mate has their own.

Coming Home Late From Work

Your spouses's job never required working late hours and now it does. This could be a sign of cheating. Some jobs have changed recently and may require more time, however this is a very troubling sign that you may have a cheater.

People do change and these signs happening environment can be totally innocent. However, they also could be a sign of your spouse being involved in an extramarital affair.
