Next day I went to the address and in the meantime got to see a handsome guy, Alain, taking a class of five. From the waltz he went onto salsa and the sensuous samba. His moves were so graceful that I decided to enroll in the class no matter what. Alain had the courtesy to come and meet me and explain a few steps. He also instructed me on the type of shoes to bring along for each class. I did go back the following day as a student.

Some of us never think that we will ever find true love. The fairy tale existence of our parents just didn't seem to match up with today's world. Trusting someone with all my heart was something I wasn't inclined to think about, leave alone experience. I did have my crush on guys as school and dated one for a while, until he broke my heart. At that point, he was everything to me and that was why I probably turned cynical towards love and marriage in general.

I kept myself busy going about my usual chores and tried my best to love my job as much as possible, until I found one that I really loved. I have seen so many divorces and so many friends unhappy, that it would be difficult for anyone to convince me otherwise about marriage. I must admit I was no Juliet and was not looking for any Romeo to help me out through the window.

I decided to walk home from work one evening and happened to walk by the park. Being late evening, there were quite a few people in the park, all doing their own thing. There was a lady distributing pamphlets, and I took one out of courtesy and stuffed it in my handbag.

I reached home and went about my chores, finally settling down to watch a movie before I turned in for the night. I reached for my handbag to pull out hairclip when I came across the pamphlet given to me by the lady at the park. It was an ad for dance classes. A dance class got me thinking, and I thought it might be a good idea to express my emotions and clear my thoughts, that's apart from the exercise that I could do with.

Slowly, Alain and I spent hours dancing together and little did we know that it was the beginning of a long romance. We married in Las Vegas and needless to say we had the time of our lives dancing, and so did our guests. Today, we have seen many couples take their vows after meeting at our dancing school.
