I don't think it comes as a surprise when I say that as guys, we can be stubborn at times. When it comes to relationship issues, that stubborn streak can end up costing you big time. 1. She is going to test you, especially if she still likes you.

Women test men, plain and simple. And you can bet that your ex girlfriend is going to test you, especially if there is a part of her that is unsure about whether or not you are really serious about wanting to change the way that you are with her, or if you are just saying it to get her back. When you have a plan to get her back, you can 'pass' those tests pretty easily.

2. You are going to get confused as to what your next move should be.

Face it, none of us are really in tune with what works in all situations, especially dealing with an ex girlfriend. There are going to be moments when you feel like you have no clue what the next thing to do is. When you have a plan that you can look at whenever you want, you can escape all of that confusion and uncertainty.

3. You are going to say the wrong things if you just go without a plan.

Do you know how easy it is to make a little headway with your ex girlfriend and then suddenly say the wrong thing and at the wrong time and end up making her wish that she never sees you again? It happens all of the time. A guy will be winning her over again and then the last thing that he should say comes out his mouth and that's it. It's over for good.
