Who better to come up with ideas for a couple’s wedding than the couple themselves? Sure outside things can help, but it is their wedding and they alone know their story. Their past and meaningful events there from are completely their own. So when it comes to wedding favors, they may be able to come up with a much more personalized favor than any suggestion they can get or find. In order to make their wedding memorable, they may feel it necessary to come up with a favor with some personal significance.

But getting ideas for wedding favors can be a difficult task. The couple still wants to get something that will mean a lot to them and hopefully to their guests, but there are places to look to help inspire that in them. Other people have gotten married in the past. Asking one of those couple what they did for their wedding could start them off on the right path. If even the older couple’s way of thinking about wedding favors is explained, it could inspire the new couple to think in ways they had not thought of before. Just the simple question "what did you do?" could really help someone looking for ideas.

Of course there are magazines and websites aplenty that devote themselves to wedding and the planning there of. Any number of these can be investigated to get ideas for wedding favors. Simply flipping pages or clicking on links may prove enough to start a couple off thinking about their own wedding favors. After all, the methods on any site or in any magazine will have been tested in a real wedding, so the new couple knows that they have been well thought out. These places could be a great place to see what has been done before.

The wedding favors may seem like a small part of the wedding, but they can really make it so much more memorable. So sitting down and talking about ideas as a couple is very important. The groom should have as much say in what is being decided upon as the bride. It will be his wedding as well and it is important that he be part of the process. It can be hard to sit down and talk about this, but it is an integral part of the wedding and needs the participation of both people. If one sits out then a valuable viewpoint would be lost.

With all that said, the favors picked out for a wedding can really make a difference in how people view that wedding. If the favors are simple and generic, then guests will not be as inclined to remember it over any number of other weddings they have seen in the past. But if the time can be taken to personalize each of the favors, then this wedding could forever stand out in their memory as being something truly special.
