Often, the most under-looked factor in a wedding is the bridesmaids. Of course, the focus is supposed to be on the bride and groom, but fashionable bridesmaids can make a wedding that much more elegant. The wedding party is included in many pictures and all of the important events, why not ensure that everyone involved in your special day looks the best they can? Bridesmaid gowns can truly help make your wedding more memorable.

If you are planning your wedding day, you can switch things up by giving your back-up women a little bit of shine. First thing you will need to do is figure out how you can cater to all of the bridesmaids’ needs at once. If most of your bridesmaids are close to the same size (whether voluptuous or thin), a sheath style gown will definitely do. If some of the bridesmaids will wear plus-size wedding gowns, they may not feel so comfortable in such a dress.

To cater to plus-size women and thin bridesmaids at the same time, you can go with a ball gown. This may make small women look smaller and larger women look larger, but it is a great way to make your wedding party stand out and impress your guests.

A great universal dress is one with an empire waist. The gown slightly flows outward from the bottom of the bust line. Pregnant bridesmaids can also wear these (even in the third trimester).

Another is the A-line dress. This has a princess flare and compliments many sizes and figures. The flare begins at the waist, so it is okay to wear by first and second trimester moms to be.

You can also have each of the gowns tailor-made to fit the style of each bridesmaid. Choose a designer you like along with a fabric and color. You can put your maid of honor in charge of making sure things go well while you cater to other aspects of your wedding.

A bridal gown style that is quickly becoming very popular is tea-length gowns. These come to the knees or calves. If you are looking to have a casual wedding or semi-formal wedding, these dresses may be a perfect fit. Outdoor summer and spring weddings may also use this style of wedding dress. The gowns are both attractive and comfortable.

When deciding how to dress your bridesmaids, it is important that you try your best to cater to their different bodies and styles.
