How can you tell if your man is absolutely crazy about you? Is it when he fills your place with your favorite blooms? When he gets insanely jealous the moment you look at other guys? Or when he stays at your pad every single night for a whole week? If you imagine spending the rest of your life with your current guy but you want to be absolutely sure about it, look at the seemingly insignificant things rather than the flashy romantic gestures. In matters of love, a man’s mind is very uncomplicated. Unlike women, men often lack the gift of covering up their feelings, and one can easily tell if a man is in love.

Here are the most obvious signs that he is serious about the relationship: A man in love is never too busy to call. He calls in the morning just to say hi. He calls you at work but is sensitive enough not to stay too long on the phone. He calls you to remind you of your dinner date, which you already talked about. He cooks up just about any excuse just to talk to you—because he misses you and can’t go one more minute without hearing your voice. The love bug has bit him, and he is head over heels with you.

Being punctual for a guy may seem unimportant, but it actually shows he respects you and cares about you. When you are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m, he turns up on time; if he knows that he will be delayed, he takes time to let you know, so that you don’t have to rush to get ready. During conversations, he doesn’t get distracted by anything. Why? Because he is genuinely listening to what you’re saying! His eyes hardly leave your face and he doesn’t look at his watch nor fidget in his seat. You can tell by the way he laughs at your jokes that he is deep in the conversation and not just pretending to listen.

Yep, his friends know your name, but that’s not all. They know what you do for a living, what kind of pasta you like, and that you are allergic to seafood. Not to mention that you’re gorgeous, and smart, and—well, it may seem like his friends are asking for juicy details about you, but no. It’s only because all he wants to talk about is you, you, YOU. There is a difference between dating with no strings attached, and dating exclusively. Most guys are rather content without the strings, but your guy goes out of his way to make everything official—meaning, you have to be faithful to each other and to date exclusively, because you are already a couple.

When a guy is getting serious about the relationship, he will want to get closer to you and be involved in almost every aspect of your life. If you like antiques, he’ll have a full understanding of your collections and afternoon trips to the flea market. Don’t force him though, if he’d rather tinker with his car than go with you. After all, love has limits! Men are often wary of taking a new girlfriend to their flat, fearing that she might be turned-off by the tacky decor, or she might start thinking that he wants her to move in.

Then he gives you a key to his place—you can finally bring your toiletries in! This gesture not only screams of his trust to you, but also signifies that he is willing to take your relationship to the next level. And most of all, he doesn’t roll on his side of the bed after sex. Instead, he wants to cuddle and chat—and asks you if you enjoyed making love!
