You have just experienced a break up and you desperately want to have that relationship back in as little time as possible. This is a common feeling that many have experienced. I know. I've been there and know what you're going through.

You may be in a depressed state and the first thing that comes to mind is to call your ex and beg him or her to return. This is not the thing to do. You must not beg or cry in despair to your ex. This generally never helps and usually causes your ex to move further away from you.

Do not call your ex. Do not stay inside crying all day long. Instead follow the following three steps and you will be much closer to getting back together with your ex.

The first step is to Accept the Break Up.

Let your ex know that you now accept what happened. This action will relieve a lot of stress and anxiety that currently exists between the two of you. You will now have the space to evaluate your relationship and what options you have. If your ex still loves you and wants to get back together, this is the time that he or she will do it.

The second step is Not To Contact Your Ex

This is a step that will take a lot of discipline on your part. It is important that your ex perceive that you have moved on and that you are doing fine.

This will result in your ex thinking more about you and the relationship. It will give your ex a chance to miss you. In turn, you will be able to maintain your calm which is the best way for your ex realize how important you are to them.

The third step is to Plan on the Next Meeting

After fully completing the two previous steps, it is now time to work on when and where you should meet. It is also important to plan ahead what you will say to your ex when you meet. This will give you the chance to evaluate whether you want to get back together with your ex and whether or not you ex is still interested in being with you.
