If I had a dollar for every time I heard the following marriage proposal ideas, I would be RICH:

  1. Put the ring in her wine glass at dinner2) Have the waiter bring the ring out on a platter at an expensive dinner3) Propose at the Game4) Propose with a singing telegram5) Propose at the dinner table on thanksgiving in front of the family6) Propose on Christmas Morning7) Propose on Valentine’s Day Do you know how often these are used and just how much creativity these LACK? Well, let me tell you that over 80%* of the women that were disappointed with their marriage proposals that included many of these over-used proposals definitely know. So, why don’t these work, as they sound like pretty good ideas on the surface? One reason (of many) that these just don’t work is that the as many times as you and I have heard about these, so have the ladies. How many women like to go to a party with the same dress as another woman that will be there? NONE! So, if you are smart enough to know that the marriage proposal is much more important than showing up at a party with the same dress; you can easily understand why these do not succeed. The lack of creativity and romance is apparent, when you do what you heard someone else do. To create a special moment that was designed entirely for her is the key to success in any proposal. The proposal is the first step toward a life-long commitment of marriage and if taken lightly is very substandard. To follow the instructions of someone else and assume that their relationship and mate is just like yours doesn’t work well to create a memorable, lasting impression. To move you in the right direction, I will provide a T.I.P. This T.I.P. stands for Thoughtfulness, Intimate, and Planned. When you use the T.I.P., you will separate your proposal from all others with its direct focus only on the relationship that you share with your mate. Even if your plan comes close to something that you may have heard, it will have enough distinct touches of you and your mate to make it unique. So, you mate will not be “wearing the same dress” even if it may appear the “same color.” When you use your creativity to develop a T.I.P. proposal, you will find that it truly reflect your intimate relationship and will not be a story that everyone has already heard. It will truly be the story that you and your mate had that will be a refreshing twist to the world. http://www.preposals.com/marriage_proposal/articles30.php
