A loud party with the friends at the club or bar until the sunrise, a nice hookup with a beautiful girl, and a good time spent in bed with that lady. Definitely a good time spent for a man, and it's hard to imagine all that without a heavy dose of drinking and smoking. The whole concept of partying itself is based on alcohol consumption and it's hard to avoid it even if you don't want to drink. Remember how your friends are reacting to the claim that you're not drinking this time? Exactly! And despite the fact that smoking is less popular these days and there are restrictions on it in many bars and clubs, when you drink past your limit it's hard to stop your hand from lighting a cigarette even if you don't smoke at all.

But what about the "girl in the bed" part of the story? After all that heavy drinking, ending up in bed with a woman and hoping for good sex is somewhat unrealistic for many men. There's no big secret that alcohol and good sex just don't come along. Of course, having a glass of wine or something stronger can be arousing and very stimulating in terms of sex, but what happens after you drink a bottle of whiskey? Having a noodle in your pants when trying to have sex with a lady you've just met isn't a particularly good idea of occasional sex. Of course, some you men can pull it off, as their sexual health is so strong that they can be very drunk and still have good erection. But when you're far away from being young, heavy drinking is not a good companion for sex. Moreover, it delivers you a great risk of having constant sexual problems the more you drink. That is because heavy alcohol consumption damages the cardiovascular system which is crucial for maintaining good erection. The longer you abuse on alcohol the harder it will be getting good erections, and any alcoholic will tell you how depressing it may be.

Smoking can have just the same effects on sexual health as heavy drinking. Of course, smoking won't affect your ability to get and maintain an erection, but will you be able to have sex long enough while coughing and trying to breathe? Just as with any other physical activity, you will find that having sex is a hard task and will drift off to a more passive role in bed even if you use Viagra. Imagine the effects of that on your sexual activity. Not to mention the negative impact on fertility smoking delivers both to men and women.

Having a cigarette after a good shared orgasm is a cliché move, and it's not quite realistic because numerous studies show that about 40% of male smokers have sexual problems. Smoking raises the likelihood of suffering from ED by 50% in adult men. And even if you buy Viagra the impact of smoking will still accumulate and decrease the effectiveness of the drug.

So it turns out that the usual things accompanying a good party – alcohol and cigarettes – are the things that can ruin the pleasant finale of such a party. The choice of what is more important is yours as always.
