Breathing and Orgasm

As you come near to your orgasm, your breathing naturally quickens and your heart rate increases. During sex, it increases from a normal rate to 35-40 breaths per minute and when orgasm comes it very often will be in excess of 50 breaths per minute.

Of all the physiological elements that come together in sexual intercourse, breathing is the ONLY one that can be controlled by us and this is why it is so crital interms of helping you last longer in bed.

Fact

If you breathe at a slower rate and make a conscious effort to do this - your heart rate will decrease in numbers of beats per minute and will enable you delay orgasm.

Breathing Correctly

Try this simple method of breathe control and you will find that it will help you last longer in bed.

Firstly, take a long, deep inhale of breath, wait a 3 seconds, and exhale slowly. Maintain slow rhythmic, controlled breathing while doing this.

Take Control

When you feel you are coming close to orgasm, your breathing will start to become faster as you become more aroused. When this occurs its time to take control of your breathing in the following way:

Concentrate on long, slow breaths - to do this inhale hold for a few seconds, and then exhale slowly.

As your breathing slows, your body will become more relaxed – orgasms always feature fast breathes, so its obvious how breathing can make you last longer in bed.

You are simply fooling your body into thinking that it is not time for sexual act to be completed.

You can also control your breathing another way, which is highly effective.

Use this method:

Don’t use your mouth to inhale use your nose and breathe slowly through it.

Nose breathing means slower breaths naturally.

This is simply due to the nostrils being simply smaller than your mouth.

Concentrate on breathing slowly through the nose if you get near orgasm and keep your mouth closed.

Don’t force you’re breathing when doing this keep it slow and at the same time retain a regular rhythm.

When you want to delay orgasm simply try the following:

Breathe slowly, rhythmically and deeply. Deeply inhale, hold and then slowly exhale concentrate on keeping it slow and rhythmic.

If you feel you have to stop thrusting to delay ejaculation still keep the slow nose breathing going during the break as it will calm you further and put off orgasm further.

Breathing is the ONLY psychological aspect we can control during intercourse and that is why it is so vital, for maintaining control over the ejaculation process.

If you can learn the above methods (and their simple to do) you can maintain control during intercourse which can lead to better sex and a more satisfying experience for both you and your partner.

Proper breathing technique will simply allow you to last longer in bed so get practicing!
