Spring and summer have always been extremely busy for us. One of our businesses is seasonal and our children have always played baseball since they were five years old. With our oldest son being in college and playing baseball, most weekends we are traveling six hours to watch him play and support his team. This means I have to get everything done in four days. This year our youngest son is graduating and we are busy with all of those activities also.
This will probably be my son’s last year of college, so we are trying to make it to as many games as we can. He will be going into the draft this year and we believe he will sign. It was an interesting year for him and a little stressful for us. Right before the season started he was sick and lost about 18 pounds,
which means he lost some of his strength and stamina. On his first outing, the ball came back right at him and hit him in the arm. He was taken out of the game and that evening he had a big bruise. That night I prayed that he would be healed quickly. The following weekend when he was pitching I asked one of the players if he was well enough to pitch, and to my amazement he told me that my son’s arm was fine and that the bruise was almost gone the next day. Patrick wears his Q-Link faithfully and he is getting better and better every day. His last two games he seems getting back to his old self before his lost his weight. He has told us that he feels like the Q-Link pendant has been very beneficial for him with his focus, performance and stamina.
We have been blessed with businesses that allow us to be able to travel and support our children in their endeavors, whether it be baseball or music. When supporting our children we have to work hard and put in long days to be able to be there for them, physically, mentally, spiritually and financially.
I have always loved working with children and this Spring I decided to volunteer at the elementary school twice a week. I’m working with one pre-school boy, who needs extra time helping him to identify numbers, colors, shapes and whatever else that teacher would like for me to do. I also help out with the kindergarten classes helping them with reading, math, identifying money and whatever needs to be done. I feel grateful appreciation to be able to do this and to have the energy to do all that needs to get done.
Our friends think we are crazy, because most weekends we are traveling to some college to watch and support our son. A friend recently asked how I can manage to do all of this and I told her I just do it. I know that wearing my Q-Link pendant helps me tremendously. It gives me more energy, I’ve noticed that I have greater focus which enables me to get my tasks done quickly and I have experienced an over-all sense of well being. I have only felt this way since I started wearing my Q-link. It has been a wonderful asset to me and my whole family
