WHAT YOU CONSISTENTLY HARBOUR IN YOUR MIND CREATES YOUR LIFE

Through the power of your mind, working through your senses, you have the ability to accept or reject any idea or image you get from your environment But most of us embrace the emotions surrounding fear with passionate intensity. This intensity gravely festers and impacts upon the subconscious mind to transform itself later into malicious programs and eventually into destructive, self-defeating habits. These habits in turn, negatively interfere and control the decisions you make, what you can and what you cannot accomplish, and ultimately you entire way of life.

Each person, and that includes you, has free will (your ability to choose how to act or think), but after adopting a certain thinking approach and repeatedly acting in that same particular vein, a habit is formed and you feel as if you no longer have the free will that you used to form it. Now, this habit owns and dominates you.

If you want to change bad habits and improve your lifestyle, then obviously you have to change your thinking, and as you change your thinking, you change the activity of the cells in your brain: Your mind!

I always tell my students: "What you're doing to your mind, you're doing to yourself. Be responsible for what you decide to admit into your mind, as this is creating your current reality".

HOW TO CREATE NEW HABITS AND REGAIN CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE

o CHOOSE WHAT HABIT YOU WANT TO CREATE. For example, if you're working in the area of sales, and have developed the habit of not making calls and wasting time, now establish the habit of calling five prospects every single day.

o WRITE OUT OF FIVE BENEFITS YOU GET AS A RESULT OF CREATING THIS NEW HABIT. This might be a new ability to go on vacation, buy a new car, pay your debts, etc. Picture yourself enjoying the fruits of that habit. This is an extremely effective process of self-suggestion and if you do it well and often and consistently, you'll be sending a message to your subconscious that this action brings you pleasure and very soon it will become part of the program that's running your life and forming your reality.

o PAY THE INITIAL PRICE: Creating a habit has a price, and it is the price you pay every time you make one: the need for continuous thought and constant action related to the habit that you want to adopt. Commit yourself to this price for at least 21 days and notice, at the end of that period, the new habit will be yours, and you're ready to move on to the next one.

We are creatures of habit. And these habits, in the form of programs, are running our lives. If you follow this corrective process, you will feel in control and comprehend that you are the programmer of your life events. Then your life will not be the same.

The subconscious is the most fertile garden of the universe. Use the power of your conscious mind to cultivate good habits and I assure you, you'll reap the fruits of success, prosperity and abundance for the remainder of your days.
