When couples break up you can almost guarantee there has been an argument or discussion before hand. If there has not been an argument or discussion, this can also be the cause. Some people love the fight to be right and others will sit in silence in the hope that it will all just go away the next morning. In some circumstances, one part of the relationship can be so dominant and powerful, it is simply a waste of time to try and put your view across. Some people simply need to be right at all costs, however if they are proved wrong, this can turn to erratic behaviour. Sometimes it can lead to separation. With this inability to communicate it will be hard to get your ex back.

Normally though, when couples disagree or go to the point of pushing an argument, it is for a reason. This reason is to be heard and listened to. Remember you are supposed to be together, and this means time and patience is needed in order to share these problems and issues with the other. When this does not happen, one of you can feel unwanted or even rejected. It is at this point couples seek the advice and comfort of others. This can be from close friends and family, and unfortunately sometimes, if the situation gets too much, they look at the possibility of ending the relationship and starting again with another further down the line.

There are of course many complications in relationships that can cause a breakup. We accept there can be circumstances out of our control, however in general, this lack of communication and tolerance to sit and listen is one of the key reasons. Yes there are more but the communication plays a big role in a relationship and without it, it is destined to fail. If you are suffering a separation and you want to get your ex back, communication skills are essential!

If you are involved in a relationship now that seems to be going stale or you are recently experiencing a separation, the chances are this has been one of the reasons. Have a look back and take a minute to think if you really did listen or share your views together enough. If not, this can be the open door to solving your problems.
