Respect is the key to a relationship. As a marriage matures, it must be built upon the rock of mutual respect for each person in the marriage. Learning to truly hear the other person and their needs and fears is the basis for respect in a relationship. And being able to talk to them and ensure that you are giving 110% is of great value to your mate.
