When my girlfriend, Janet, told me Jack was married I just wouldn't believe her. You know the old saying, "Love is blind?" Well, love is blind and sometimes stupid, too.

So, how did I get into a position where I didn't even know my boyfriend was married? It all started when I went home for Christmas last year. I had a great time with my folks and was on the plane back here to Dallas when I met Jack. He was seated next to me on the plane. He said he was also coming back for a Christmas reunion with his family who lived in Minneapolis. My parents live in St. Paul. Anyhow, we go to talking and he said we should get together for drinks sometime. I gave him my number.

Jack called the very next day and we met at Kempi's at the Intercontinental Hotel. It was very nice and Jack just swept me off my feet, as they say. I don't usually do this sort of thing, but I had a couple drinks and Jack was such a doll that we ended up in a room at the hotel. I can't say I was drunk drunk, but I was feeling pretty good. We got up to the room and Jack put some soft jazz on the radio. He undressed me and then gave me a full massage, even my feet and believe me, for a waitress that's really something special. He said he'd do all the work and kept his word. He just had me lie on my back and well, the rest is history.

I'm only telling that part of the story so you'll know why I wanted to see Jack again. It was pretty wonderful. We went out three more times that week and then he got very busy with work. He said he was some kind of vice-president in charge of something important. Then we could only get together maybe once a week if that. That's when Janet dropped her bombshell and told me my boyfriend is married.

She didn't have any proof, she just said it all added up. Her theory was Jack went to Minneapolis with his wife and maybe kids, too. She said he probably came home early to go to work and they stayed in Minneapolis. That's why he could see me so much that first week. Then when his family came home he couldn't see me so much.

It made sense but I didn't want to believe it. Yes, he fooled me, but for a couple of weeks I think I wanted to be fooled. He was such a terrific lover. Then my conscience started getting the better of me. I tried to convince myself that it was alright as long as I didn't know. That was no good. I decided I needed to know for sure, but didn't know what to do.

I went on the internet and read all kinds of articles and blogs but they weren't all that helpful. Then I came across a little article called "Is My Boyfriend Married?" It just cut right to the heart of the matter and told me exactly what to do. If you think you might be dating a married man, do yourself a favor and read this article. Don't let any man make a fool of you.

Jack was a jerk, but I was a fool. I didn't want to see the truth and in the end I got hurt. I'm glad I had a friend to set me straight. If my story sounds familiar, is something like this is happening to you, read "Is My Boyfriend Married?"It will only take a few minutes and it can save you a lot of pain and embarrassment.
