Many people are looking for an alternative to eBay for many different reasons. As well as I may do working with eBay I can not begin to think about how much better I would be doing if eBay hasn’t screwed me so many times. That is right, eBay has screwed me many times and I disagree with a lot when it comes to eBay.

Still, I use eBay everyday and a majority of my income comes from eBay. Why, because I have no other choice. If you are looking for an alternative to eBay, quit looking. You will never find one because they do not exist. Sure there are several of auction sites that claim to be competitors of eBay, but they really are not in any way. Let’s face it; eBay owns half of the internet. They are a multi billion dollar business and they aren’t going anywhere.

The type of traffic that eBay produces for it’s sellers is just unbelievable. There are billions of people that use eBay all over the world each and every day. There is no way any other company can compete with that. They can have better software, better customer service, no seller fees, and whatever else and it will not matter. Without the traffic for the sellers, the site is useless.

The whole point of using eBay is that it is so easy to get exposure for what you are trying to sell. You wouldn’t believe the things I have sold for people on eBay. I can honestly say that I would not have been able to get interested buyers at any other market place.

The biggest competitor of eBay used to be Yahoo Auctions, which no longer exists. The fact is that eBay is HUGE. There is no way anyone can compete. Without lots of potential buyers, there is no way to be successful selling on an online auction site.

If you are a buyer, are you going to go look for an item to buy on eBay, or are you going to look on that website that you are researching for right now? If I am wrong, and there is some type of eBay alternative out there that can take place of eBay and produce as many sales as eBay can, then please let me know.

A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don't take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A+++ http://www.elfingo.com
